Cincinnati is another up-and-coming team, with a much more exciting offense than New York. Joe Burrow is one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the league, and he’s leading an exciting offense that features the likes of Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and now Ja’Marr Chase.

Adding the speed and experience of Richard would only strengthen the versatility of this young offense.

If Richard went to Cincinnati, he’d likely split time as the number two back with Samaje Perine, who re-signed with the team this past March. Even with Mixon likely getting most of the touches most games, having the ability to play Richard in pass situations or two and three running back sets would add another layer of unpredictability to the offense.

Richard, again, could function as a safety net player that Burrow could go to in dump-off situations. Trading for him wouldn’t require Cincinnati to send a whole lot over to Las Vegas., so, if Cincy decided to pursue a trade with Las Vegas for Richard, then it would make a lot of sense.
