Raiders free agency: 3 dream targets for Las Vegas in 2022

Jamal Adams, SS

This offseason, it was clear that the Raiders wanted to do something to improve the safety position. After seeing second-year player Johnathan Abram struggle last season, the Raiders added back Karl Joseph in free agency, while also trading up for Trevon Moehrig in the second round, and taking Tyree Gillespie in Round 4.

Those are some new faces at the two safety spots in 2021, and looking ahead to 2022, the hope is that the Raiders do not need to bring anybody in at safety. However, if Abram looks the way he did last season, there will be a gaping hole at the strong safety spot, and instead of bringing back Joseph, they may take a run at Jamal Adams.

Adams is likely to get a massive new contract in Seattle, as they traded away so many assets to get him, but this is about dream free agency targets. Having Adams and Moehrig at the two starting safety spots would certainly solidify the position group, and if they can bring in Lattimore, this becomes an elite secondary.
