2021 AFC West Cornerbacks: Where do the Las Vegas Raiders rank?

1. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos clearly have not only the best defense in the AFC West, but the best cornerback group as well.  The roster boasts Kyle Fuller, Ronald Darby, Bryce Callahan, and just drafted Patrick Surtain II with their first-round pick.

Surtain was rated by most draft pundits as the best corner in the 2021 NFL Draft, and I believe that if the Raiders had a cornerback room like the Broncos have, they would be not only playoff contenders but Super Bowl contenders. Fuller has been a very good player so far in his career, and is a two-time Pro Bowler, and has been an All-Pro in the past.

The Broncos also acquired Ronald Darby this offseason, signing him to a three-year $30 million deal, as they completely re-did their cornerback position, and unfortunately for the Raiders and the rest of the AFC West, it is now one of the stronger position groups on their team.

Thank goodness they haven’t found their franchise quarterback yet or the AFC West would be in some serious trouble.
