Las Vegas Raiders: 4 early 2022 NFL Draft first-round targets

Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma:

This pick is truly banking on the upside and potential for Perrion Winfrey to have a breakout season at Oklahoma this season. The former JUCO star has only played one season for the Sooners, but has already shown flashes of potential that should surely translate into him becoming a Day 1 draft selection.

At 6-foot-3 and 298 pounds, Winfrey has great size and for such a large man is very twitchy. He provides above-average strength and has an incredible burst off the line, and the Sooners expect to see a huge leap from Winfrey this season.

While the Raiders made some significant changes with the defensive tackle position this offseason, it may be apparent none of the defensive tackles currently on the roster have a long-term career with the Raiders, barring any sort of surprise performance. If the Raiders have the ability to take the athletic Winfrey with a first round pick, it would seem to be a no brainer choice.
