Las Vegas Raiders: 3 new Denver Broncos to worry about in 2021

No. 2: Patrick Surtain II, Cornerback

The Denver Broncos landed the best cornerback in the 2021 NFL Draft in the first round this past April, bringing in Patrick Surtain II from Alabama. Not only does Surtain have the pedigree, as his father is a former NFL player, but he is one of the more NFL-ready players coming out this season, and should have no problem moving up the depth chart in Denver.

The problem here, for the Raiders, is that the Broncos took a weakness from 2020, which was the cornerback spot, and turned it into a strength. They not only added Surtain, but they also brought in Kyle Fuller and Ronald Darby, completely positively revamping the position group this offseason.

In Surtain, the Broncos got a guy they can draft, and plug into the starting lineup from Day 1, and that should worry Raiders fans. The team was able to put 30-plus on the Broncos both times they played them last season, but with more talent on that side of the ball in 2021, that may be very hard to replicate.
