One player from each position to surprisingly make the Raiders roster
Running Back: Trey Ragas
The Raiders have two guaranteed running backs who will currently make the roster in Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake, but who will be that third back? The obvious answer would be Jalen Richard, who seems like he has been with the team forever, but many fans want the Raiders to let him go for salary cap reasons.
The Raiders also have Theo Riddick under contract, who is somewhat of an older version of Jalen Richard. So, who will make the roster between these two backs?
The answer could be neither.
The Raiders brought in undrafted rookie Trey Ragas out of Louisiana after the draft, and although he did not have a necessarily incredible college career, the Raiders saw something in him that they liked, and he is a cheap option as the team’s RB3. Ragas is 5’10, 230 pounds, and recorded 3,999 yards from scrimmage in his four-year college career, to go along with 43 touchdowns, making him an intriguing talent to keep an eye on this summer.
