One player from each position to surprisingly make the Raiders roster
Tight End: Matt Bushman
Looking at the Raiders roster in terms of the tight end position, they have a bunch of talent, including two guys who could be the most dynamic duo in football at the position in 2021. Both Darren Waller and Foster Moreau are obviously locked to make the roster heading into Week 1, and they will be listed as No. 1 and 2 on the depth chart.
Behind them is another story, as Derek Carrier has the inside track to make the team, especially due to the fact he is an elite blocker. However, after Carrier, there is a collection of guys looking to make a name for themselves at the next level, including Matt Bushman, who missed the 2020 season due to a torn Achilles.
However, before his injury, Bushman was a top option for Zach Wilson at BYU, and while he started his career late due to being a Mormon missionary, he has the physical attributes to dominate at the next level. He could be a guy the team stashes on the practice squad, but with a strong summer, and if he is healthy, do not be surprised if he makes the team.
