Las Vegas Raiders: 4 players who could pull a Shohei Ohtani and play both ways

3. Alec Ingold, FB –> LB

Here is where it starts to get interesting, as we turn our focus away from the trenches, and start to look at the second level of the defense. This season, the Raiders have three solid starters at the linebacker spot in Nicholas Morrow, Cory Littleton, and Nick Kwiatkoski, but after those three, it gets a bit cloudier.

First, the Raiders have two former collegiate safeties that they drafted the last two years that will attempt to transition to linebacker. Then there is Javin White, who was forced to do the same thing last year, and only played in a handful of games. This group lacks depth, but help could be on the other side of the ball.

Of all the offensive players that I could see playing linebacker, Alec Ingold steps out as the one who could come in and make some plays for Bradley and this defense. He plays with aggression, is not afraid to make the big hit, and based on how agile he is, there is no reason why he could not succeed in certain situations at the linebacker spot.
