Las Vegas Raiders: Previewing the 2021 Philadelphia Eagles

Game Outlook

Ultimately, this should be a game that the Raiders win, especially with the game being at Allegiant Stadium. However, the defense may struggle to contain Jalen Hurts’s running ability, as that is a skill set that has hurt this defense in the past.

They will get the biggest test of this in the first game of the season when they take on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, so if they have some sort of success against him, they should be able to hold Hurts down. Remember, there are a lot of question marks surrounding this Eagles team, including if they made the right choice as head coach.

The Raiders’ offense should be put up points against this Eagles’ defense as long as the offensive line can keep Cox and Kerrigan from taking over the game as their linebackers, as the secondary has been pretty bad as of late. Expect a heavy dose of Jacobs, and some designed plays for Waller, as the Raiders have the more elite players on both sides of the ball.
