Training camp is here, and with expectations growing for the Las Vegas Raiders, the battles for the final 53-man roster will be huge.

Training camp is upon us, and the Las Vegas Raiders have a lot to prove entering this 2021 season. Last season, Las Vegas looked to be a playoff contender early in the season, but after another strong start, the Raiders faltered down the stretch, once again being on the outside looking in during the postseason.

Jon Gruden enters his fourth year as head coach in his second go-around with the franchise, and the expectations from most fans are that this team needs to be in the playoffs. The roster at this point is completely how he wants it, so there will be little room for excuse, especially after so many first-round picks since coming back in 2018.

Not only are the expectations huge for Gruden and this franchise in 2021, but for Mike Mayock as well. We will see if the organization is ready to handle the pressure of expectations, and it will all begin in Henderson, Nevada today, as the veteran arrived for the 2021 training camp.

So as we look forward to football being back, let’s examine the Raiders roster and make a prediction as to who will be on the final 53-man when Week 1 against Baltimore comes around.
