Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster prediction entering 2021 training camp

Running Backs: Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake, Jalen Richard, Alec Ingold

There is a new one-two-punch in the Las Vegas backfield as the Raiders spent a good chunk of money this offseason to bring in Kenyan Drake to pair with Josh Jacobs. With both of these players in the backfield, this should be one of the better tandems in the league, as they are both adept at making plays in the run and passing game.

Jacobs’ health has been an issue in the latter part of his first two seasons, so having a guy like Drake will undoubtedly help. Now in terms of being the pass-catching back, Drake hasn’t proven exceptional in that area, so hopefully, Gruden sees something others aren’t.

Jalen Richard backs up Jacobs and Drake unless something were to occur and should contribute to special teams. Finally, Ingold remains the team’s lone fullback, and based on what we have seen from him so far in his NFL career, the team should be set at the position group for the foreseeable future.
