Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster prediction entering 2021 training camp
Defensive Tackles: Jonathan Hankins, Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, Darius Stills
Perhaps the least productive unit on this team last year was the interior defensive line. Just 1.5 sacks, 2 TFLs, and 10 QB hits all season from the two starters will not get it done.
Johnathan Hankins is the returning starter, and although he does prove to be more valuable than the stat sheet would indicate, he will need to be a little more productive for this defense to improve. Quinton Jefferson is a solid player and will probably be the first in line to start alongside Hankins.
The Raiders also brought in former top-5 pick Solomon Thomas to compete for the second starter spot, and there is a hope that he can tap into what made him such a highly coveted prospect coming out of Stanford.
And on the opposite end of draft pedigree, there is Darius Stills, who went undrafted but seemed to be a draftable player, according to many analysts. Perhaps the Raiders can get a serviceable rotational player or more.
