Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster prediction entering 2021 training camp

Cornerback: Trayvon Mullen, Damon Arnette, Casey Hayward, Amik Robertson, Nate Hobbs, Nevin Lawson, Isaiah Johnson

This might be the most intriguing position going into training camp because the competition for playing time should be fierce.

Trayvon Mullen has one of the spots locked down on the outside, but the battle between veteran Casey Hayward and second-year Damon Arnette is the thing to watch.

Hayward has the edge since he’s already played and excelled in the Gus Bradley scheme. However, the Raiders just took Arnette in the first round last year, so it would be difficult to already relegate him to a backup role. He needs to take a big leap in year two.

Then there is Isaiah Johnson, the clear backup on the outside, and time may be running out on the potential untapped talent much thought he had. Look for Amik Robertson and Nevin Lawson to battle it out in the slot, with Nate Hobbs getting a decent look too.

Overall this is a position everyone needs to keep an eye on all summer.
