Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster prediction entering 2021 training camp

Wide Receiver: Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards, John Brown, Hunter Renfrow, Willie Snead, Marcell Ateman

There are many capable players in the Raiders’ receiver room, but we’ll have to see who can emerge. John Brown is the most proven pass catcher of the group and, if healthy, should provide an easy Nelson Agholor replacement and perhaps a better version.

But the ceiling of this unit relies heavily on second-year players Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards. Both struggled for multiple reasons last year, but with a complete and relatively normal offseason, the expectations for their sophomore season are very high.

Behind them is Hunter Renfrow, a consistent outlet for Carr in his first two seasons but is probably sitting as the odd man out when it comes to the top three wide receivers.

Willie Snead was a nice depth pickup this offseason and could certainly make some plays if given the opportunity. And finally, we have Marcell Ateman in a similar mold to Edwards should he struggle to stay healthy again this season.
