Hunter Renfrow had a good season last year and really came into his own as a shifty slot receiver. As in the first trade, the Dolphins are looking to bolster their target-rich offense for their young quarterback.

In this trade, the Raiders give up two decent draft picks, as well as sending a possession receiver to help the Dolphins improve on their low-ranked third-down conversion percentage. Renfrow was one of the best third-down receivers last season dubbing his nickname “Third-and-Renfrow.”

The Dolphins need targets for their offense and the Raiders need defensive players more than anything. Though some of these might need more assets added to them, one thing is for sure, Xavien Howard will be on a team other than the Dolphins at some point soon.
