The Las Vegas Raiders are set at quarterback this season, but like the past two seasons, the Colts are looking for their Day 1 starter it still seems.

As the resident Colts and Raiders fan for Just Blog Baby, I pride myself in my objective coverage of both teams on this website. This is one of those times that I think the Colts and Raiders could make a trade where both teams benefit.

The Colts are seemingly looking for a quarterback since newly acquired Carson Wentz went down for an ‘indefinite’ amount of time, and the Raiders need secondary players; a commodity the Colts seem to have a lot of. Going into the 2019 season, the Colts had the best quarterback duo with Jacoby Brissett backing up Andrew Luck, but we know how that worked out.

In 2020, the Colts raided the retirement home when they reunited Philip Rivers with Nick Sirianni and Frank Reich. This year, however, the Colts have two realistic options, Jacob Eason or Carson Wentz, and with Wentz going down, Eason, who hasn’t started a game in his career since being drafted last year, is the next man up.

This year, the best quarterback duo remains in Las Vegas. Both Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota are quarterbacks that can win, though, some Raider fans would disagree with the coaching staff who continues to roll with Carr. This all being said, if the Colts come knocking for Mariota, should the Raiders listen?

Here are a few possible trades that can benefit both teams.
