Las Vegas Raiders: 3 trades to send Marcus Mariota to the Indianapolis Colts

In this scenario, the Raiders get a corner that they desperately need, and a special teams star along with a third-round pick next year. Isaiah Rodgers is a nickel corner who has experience on the outside as well, and he is also a special team star boasting a sub 4.6 forty-yard dash, two areas where he can help the Silver and Black.

Rodgers has a good amount of playing time on the outside and the inside, and the former sixth-round pick played in five games last year and played solid football in all five of them. He played a total of 56 snaps, broke up five passes, and intercepted two, with one going for a touchdown.

Not only does he has experience as a cornerback but he has played at free safety, making him a versatile piece for Gus Bradley’s secondary. This trade makes sense since Damon Arnette is still a big question mark, and the Raiders could certainly use some more depth at the cornerback position pushing people for jobs this summer.
