Las Vegas Raiders: 3 trades to send Marcus Mariota to the Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are a hop, skip, and a jump away from moving on from Marlon Mack since drafting Jonathan Taylor. The Colts also have one of the deepest running back groups with Taylor, Mack, Nyhiem Hines, and Jordan Wilkins.

The Raiders also have talent at running back, but after Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake, we still do not know who the No. 3 back will be. Also, Drake figures to be used in more of a pass-catching role on this offense in Year 1 in the Silver and Black, clearing the way for the Raiders to go after Mack in a trade.

Marlon Mack missed all of last season after tearing his ACL in Week 1 against the Jaguars, but he is the definition of a one-cut running back and is perfect for the Raiders style of offensive line play. In 2019, Marlon Mack rushed 247 times for just under 1,100 yards with a 4.4 yard per carry average, so he has shouldered the load before.

He is also solid in the red zone, as he carried the ball over the goal line eight times without a single fumble, and has also dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in the past, rushing for over 130 yards against them back in 2019 on nearly 30 carries.
