Las Vegas Raiders: 5 bold training camp predictions in 2021
Nicholas Morrow starts at LB
Nick Morrow had a great out season in 2020 and was one of the few bright spots on the pitiful Las Vegas defense. In that season, Morrow started in 11 games and finished the season with three sacks, a forced fumble, 78 combined tackles, nine passes defended, and an interception.
Pretty great stats for a guy who wasn’t meant to be the top linebacker for the team.
On Friday, The Athletics Vic Tafur reported that Nick Morrow has been seeing much more playing time at camp then Nick Kwiatkowski. Also, earlier this summer, it seemed as though Gus Bradley was very high on Morrow’s skillset.
Now, under new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, Morrow has the opportunity to capitalize on this opportunity, step into a starting role, and further progress as a talented linebacker. So far, that seems to be what he is doing, too, and when all is said and done, he could end up being a cornerstone player for this Raiders defense.
