Las Vegas Raiders: Previewing the 2021 Cincinnati Bengals

The Offense

The Cincinnati Bengals made major moves this offseason to bolster their offense, as they drafted Chase with the fifth overall pick to pair him with a promising young wide receiver in Tee Higgins. Higgins had a monster rookie season in 2020, hauling in 67 passes for over 900 yards and six touchdowns.

If Henry Ruggs had that type of production last season, Raiders fans would be a lot higher on him than they currently are.

Cincinnati also signed long-time offensive tackle Riley Rieff, who is a nine-year pro with the Lions and Vikings, and drafted two tackles in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bengals added Jackson Carmine in the second round, and D’ante Smith in the fourth to protect Burrow this season, and to hopefully open up holes for their talented but controversial running back Joe Mixon.

Mixon is coming off his own injury, suffering a foot injury that allowed him to only play in six games, gaining 428 yards and scoring three times. Samaje Perine has re-signed this offseason as well to pair with Mixon after another long-time Bengal Giovanni Bernard left to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
