Las Vegas Raiders: 3 reasons Derek Carr will be a top-10 QB in 2021

Raider Nation is back in the building

Derek Carr made it clear that the Raiders were not good at home last season, and he was not lying. Going 2-6 at home is not ideal, and was one of the worst home records in the NFL, so they have to make sure they take care of business inside Allegiant Stadium this season.

This year, Las Vegas has cleared Allegiant Stadium to have fans in the stands, and Raider Nation couldn’t be happier. This is also good for the players since they feed off the energy of the stadium, and we already got a glimpse of it when 20,000 people showed up for a practice scrimmage this weekend.

As the NFL looks forward to the 2021 season, and fans can now come into the stadiums and see their teams again, the Death Star will once again be built and used as a force to be reckoned with. The symbol of the Death Star in Star Wars was one of intimidation and fear, and one can hope will lead to many victories in Las Vegas in 2021.

The AFC has a competitive playoff race and the Raiders need to win every game they can, and stop losing the close games, this includes home games in front of the fans. For Carr, the mix of the fans being back, his dominant running backs, and a capable defense could be everything he needs to lead this team to the playoffs and become a top-10 quarterback in the league.
