Las Vegas Raiders: 3 position battles heating up after the win against Seattle

No. 6 Wide Receiver

After losing Nelson Agholor in free agency this offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders added two veterans to the wide receiver room in Willie Snead and John Brown. Both vets are considered close to locks to make the 53-man roster, and when you throw in the likes of Henry Ruggs III, Hunter Renfrow, and Bryan Edwards, the sixth spot only remains.

On Saturday night, we saw some great play from three wide receivers, as Zay Jones got the party started early in the game. Jones is a guy who Derek Carr trusts and has the inside track for the sixth wide receiver position out of camp, but both Keelan Doss and D.J. Turner turned some heads on Saturday as well.

Doss hauled in six passes for over 50 yards and has some crucial catches throughout. Turner led all Raiders with seven grabs, and also returned a kick and a punt, showing he could be a guy the team relies on in special teams as well. Overall, this could be a battle that rages on all summer long.
