Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 53-man roster prediction after preseason Game No. 1

Special Teams (3)

  • K: Daniel Carlson
  • P: AJ Cole
  • LS: Trent Sieg

The classic cliché of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” rings true for these three special teamers. All three of these guys get the job done, and they do it efficiently. No reason to make any changes there. So, expect these guys to be the starting special teamers when the season kicks off.

The first preseason game gave everyone a better idea of what the team may shape up to be once the roster gets cut down to 53. There may be a few surprises that happen in the coming weeks of the preseason, but there is a good chance that this is what the roster will end up looking like when it’s all said and done.

It also gave a better idea of what these teams can play like. The defense seemed much quicker, aggressive, and aware on every play. The offense also showed that they can pound the ball down the throats of their opponent. Once the regular season rolls around, Las Vegas may have a really serious football team on their hands.
