Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 53-man roster prediction after preseason Game No. 1

WR (6): Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, John Brown, Zay Jones, DJ Turner

This is the group that could make or break the Las Vegas offense in 2021, as they won’t have Nelson Agholor as the number one anymore. Guys like Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards will have to step up in a big way in their second year if Gruden really hopes to have a diversified offensive attack.

So far, it seems that Edwards is really showing up at camp. So much so, that it seems like Carr trusts him almost as much as he trusts Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller. If he can come close to the same type of production as those two guys, then he should have a good sophomore season.

Also, Zay Jones and DJ Turner both showed up well in the preseason game against Seattle, with Jones getting a couple nice grabs and Turner earning 43 yards on seven targets. Both of these guys have some real potential this season, especially Jones.

It’ll be important to see how these two players continue to perform for the remainder of the preseason.
