Las Vegas Raiders: Answering some defensive questions in 2021

Who will lead the team in sacks?

This year, the Raiders defense had some good additions that will hopefully lead to some production. Over the past few seasons, the Raiders have tried and failed to bring in people to produce, f the Antonio Brown fiasco to the Cory Littleton experiment.

This offseason, the Raiders made sure to add positions of need, specifically in the secondary and the defensive front.

If Yannick Ngakoue is anything like his former self, combined with Maxx Crosby, they could be dominant, and together with Quinton Jefferson, this defensive line could be something great. The Raiders have gone all-in on the defense and this could translate to more sacks than last year.

Between Ngakoue and Crosby, it’s not unreasonable to say they could end up with 20 sacks as a tandem, one-off what the Raiders managed to do as a team last season. When all is said and done, they both have the potential to be double-digit sack guys, and you could flip a coin as to which one leads the team in that category this season.

I will go with Madd Maxx.
