Las Vegas Raiders: 5 players who must impress against the Los Angeles Rams
Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Cornerback
Blidi Wreh-Wilson is a former Atlanta Falcons cornerback who was signed by the Raiders and is a savvy veteran at the position. Wreh-Wilson needs to show the Raiders that he deserves to be in the picture this season, and he has a good shot to make some noise based on what a question mark the cornerback spot is in Las Vegas.
In his eight-year career in the NFL, he has failed to impress enough to be a consistent starter, a role he certainly is not going to earn with the Raiders. On a team that already has six corners, one will have to be cut before the season, and being that Wreh-Wilson is not only a veteran signing but also an older player, he could be on the final roster cuts before the start of the season.
Of course, this will all have to play out in the summer, as the Raiders have a ton of young cornerbacks, and many have yet to prove they can play consistent football at the NFL level. There are some definites at the position in terms of who makes the 53-man roster, but there are also some spots up for grabs.
