Las Vegas Raiders: 5 players who must impress against the Los Angeles Rams

Gerald McCoy, Defensive Line

The newest veteran signing needs to make a name for himself to stay on the team. Coming off a tough injury last season, Gerald McCoy was released by the Dallas Cowboys, due to the fact they have a lot of talent along the defensive line.

McCoy, 33, still has a lot to prove if he wants to be on an NFL roster, and is labeled at the third-string against the Rams. The former second-team All-Pro needs to show the organization that he belongs in the rotation at defensive line, and all signs early point to him still having some burst, and some elite leadership skills.

The problem is, the Raiders have a lot of depth along the defensive line, and it is going to be one of the main areas of focus when it comes to getting this roster cut down. For McCoy, he will have to show he can make plays in game speed, and the Rams games will be his first opportunity to do that in the Silver and Black.
