3 Takeaways from the Las Vegas Raiders first scrimmage with the Rams

Hunter Renfrow could have a bigger role than expected

With the bit of news, we have from the Raiders scrimmage against the Rams, the biggest piece of information that has been released was the big plays that Hunter Renfrow was able to make against Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey is regarded as the best cornerback in the NFL, but Renfrow made some big plays against him, burning him for two deep plays. Reports about Ramsey were made public on multiple accounts, whether it be him knocking Josh Jacobs helmet off, or getting into it with Bryan Edwards and Foster Moreau, but one bit of news that should get fans excited was the big plays that Renfrow was able to make against the All-Pro corner.

If this scrimmage is any indication of what the season has to hold, Hunter Renfrow should have a bigger role in the offense than usual, and hopefully will be able to put the skills that teammates and fans have been raving about for a couple of years onto the field.

Renfrow has the best route running on the team and has come up big for the team on third downs and in crunch time, but I believe he has the ability to be the best wide receiver on the team, and reports from today prove that.
