Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 53-man roster prediction after preseason Game No. 2

Wide Receiver (6): Henry Ruggs III, John Brown, Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, Willie Snead, Zay Jones

So far this preseason, our eyes have also been locked on the wide receiver position, as we saw Keelan Doss and D.J. Turner play very well against Seattle in the opener. The second preseason game was another story, and if they do not perform at an incredibly high level the rest of the way, they will likely not make the team.

All told, I believe the Raiders will keep six wide receivers on the active roster for Week 1, including Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, two second-year wideouts expected to make a big leap in 2021. Veteran John Brown and Willie Snead will also make the team, bringing valued leadership to the position group, and we know Hunter Renfrow’s spot is set in stone.

Overall, this is a nice collection of wide receivers, as they all can beat you in different ways, and some guys can flat-out fly. Las Vegas should be able to move the ball consistently this season, and quarterback Derek Carr has no shortage of weapons on the outside in Year 8 as the starter.
