Las Vegas Raiders: 2 possible trades with the New York Jets

Sending Carl Nassib over to New York seems as though it makes the most sense for Las Vegas. Nassib was brought onto the team last season for a generous contract that’s worth $25 million and lasts for three years.

He was expected to be a big difference maker for the defense, but after signing that contract and joining Las Vegas, Nassib really failed to impress.

In fourteen games, Nassib earned only made only 28 combined tackles, five tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks. New York may feel as though Nassib may do better in a new location with a different scheme. He is also, most likely, one of the few solid pass rushers out there that would be available for a trade.

If Las Vegas made this trade, then they could try and get a draft pick in return. Based on how much money is left on the contract, the Jets likely would not give anything over a fifth-round selection for the edge rusher, and the Raiders may want to swing that deal.
