The Las Vegas Raiders wrap up the preseason this weekend and here are 5 players that can secure a roster spot if they play well.

The Las Vegas Raiders are currently preparing for their third and final preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. In previous years, when there were four preseason games, the third game was seen as the dress rehearsal for the regular season with many starters suiting up and playing.

With the removal of one game and the changing attitude towards preseason, this game will more likely be focused on rounding out the 53-man roster.

The Raiders seem to be set at just about every starting position on both sides of the ball but there are several roster spots still available on the back end. Injuries to starters and poor play from some backups have opened up opportunities for several players that may have been seen as fringe candidates for roster spots.

Ahead of the matchup at Levi’s Stadium, we have identified five players that are battling it out for a roster spot and could secure their status with a good performance on Sunday. Let’s start with one player that made highlight reels for the wrong reasons against the Los Angeles Rams.
