The Las Vegas Raiders may not be done moving pieces around on the roster, and these three veterans could still be traded this summer.
We are slowly inching towards Week 1 of the 2021 NFL regular season, as the Las Vegas Raiders will play in their final preseason game on Saturday. This year, the NFL has moved to a 17-game regular season, cutting out one preseason game, so for a lot of players, this is their final chance to put some good work on film.
While most of the Raiders starting jobs are locked in heading into the game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Silver and Black do have some interesting roster decisions to make. This week, they cut the roster down to 80 players, but having to get to a 53-man roster is going to be tough work for Jon Gruden and his staff.
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Raiders this season, as they will finally welcome fans to Allegiant Stadium after the first year in the desert was marred by the coronavirus. Las Vegas has also looked good early in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, falling flat late, so the hope is that the new arrivals can help stop that trend.
As we enter the final preseason game, there are still some veterans who could be traded away, and we look at three of them here.
