Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 53-man roster prediction after preseason finale

Wide Receiver (6): Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, John Brown, Zay Jones, Willie Snead IV

One of the most interesting tidbits from Las Vegas’ third preseason game was that John Brown actually played with the team’s second and third-string players. There is a chance that this could indicate that Las Vegas may not be satisfied with Brown’s performance during the offseason.

Even with that, though, there is still a good chance that Brown makes the roster.

Originally, it seemed as though Snead was going to be a cut candidate when the time came. But he seemed to have worked his way onto the roster after not playing in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. If he sticks around, he will probably play behind hunter Renfrow as a slot receiver.

Zay Jones is probably the player that has the most boom or bust potential in 2021. His season could turn out like it does every year, where he doesn’t do a whole lot. Or, he can explode onto the scene and have a bounce-back year like Nelson Agholor did in 2021. If the latter is the case, then Las Vegas’ receiver room will be that much more dynamic.
