NFL rosters have to be cut down to 53 men by Tuesday, August 31, and here are some waiver wire additions the Las Vegas Raiders could make.

After a long, grueling training camp, it is the time of the year where hundreds of NFL players lose their jobs. Over the next few days, Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock will be cutting down the Raiders roster from 80 to 53.

There will likely be some additions after the initial 53-man roster is set.

For starters, Jalen Richard and Nicholas Morrow are likely headed for short-term IR, which will open up a few roster spots. Nevin Lawson is also suspended for the first two games of the season, which frees up a spot for another defensive back.

Following the completion of training camp and preseason, the Raiders have two biggest weaknesses remaining; linebacker depth and offensive line depth. Therefore, let’s see who will be available for the Raiders to claim and bulk up this roster.
