Las Vegas Raiders: 5 players to target on the waiver wire
Pernell McPhee, Defensive End
Disruption is key in the NFL, and this would be key in identifying the play of Pernell McPhee. The Baltimore Ravens moved on from the 32-year-old, and despite his advanced age, has plenty left to give. Last season, he racked up15 quarterback hits and three sacks albeit in limited time.
The Raiders seem to be pretty set at defensive end, but depth and rotation are important in the NFL, so they should at least keep an eye on the veteran if the price is right.
Bernardrick McKinney, Linebacker
Not too often does a four-time Pro Bowl player in his prime become available, but this is the case with Bernardrick McKinney. The 28-year-old linebacker was acquired via trade by the Miami Dolphins, but he was deemed expendable due to their depth.
Injuries have ravaged the Raiders linebacker group this summer, and we do not know what the deal will be with Javin White and Nicholas Morrow for Week 1. While Denzel Perryman will be joining the Raiders, more depth could be on the radar, and McKinney is someone who is going to be sought-after on the waiver wire.
