Impact Signings

One of the most notable players re-signed from waivers is running back Trey Ragas. He had a great preseason, with his most notable performance coming against the Seattle Seahawks. In that game, Ragas rushed for 62 yards on 13 carries and scored a touchdown.

Ragas then had an off game against the Los Angeles Rams but bounced back the next week to rush for 39 yards on nine carries against the San Francisco 49ers.

There is a solid chance that Ragas finds his way on the roster for Week 1 of the regular season. Las Vegas doesn’t seem to be too high on Jalen Richard this season, who is currently out with a foot injury, and Richard will likely get placed on the injured reserve list for now.

Perhaps Ragas will take over his spot as the third running back and hold onto it even if Richard comes back.

Also, wide receivers Dillon Stoner and DJ Turner can make an impact on the roster. Las Vegas’ coaching staff seemed to like both players and keeping them around proves that. If one of the top six receivers goes down with an injury or doesn’t pan out, then Stoner and Turner could potentially get a shot on the roster.
