Las Vegas Raiders: 3 reasons K.J. Wright will be a perfect fit

He is the consummate leader

The Raiders have lacked a vocal leader at linebacker for quite some time, and although linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski was named a captain last year for the Raiders, his was more solid than elite. In fact, if Nicholas Morrow was not injured at this point, Kwiatkoski would likely not even have a chance to have a starting job.

Wright does not have this issue whatsoever, as he has the ability to play at any of the linebacking positions, and will be someone who is leaned on immediately. He was a starting linebacker on a Super Bowl-winning team, and as a leader, he is the kind of voice that the Silver and Black need in this locker room.

Bringing in a player this late in the summer that not only knows the system but has also played in some big games is certainly a plus for the Raiders on and off the field. Las Vegas has seen their linebacker corps bolstered in a big way with Wright and Perryman in recent days, and they both will prove to be solid leaders for Bradley.
