The Las Vegas Raiders kick off their 2021 regular season against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, in the first game in front of fans inside Allegiant Stadium.

The Las Vegas Raiders will finally get down to the business of playing games that matter, as they open up their 2021 regular season at home against the Baltimore Ravens. The game will be in primetime, as it is a Monday Night Football matchup, as fans will finally be allowed inside Allegiant Stadium.

Las Vegas has spent another offseason revamping their roster, especially on the defensive side of the ball, where they are looking to make a major improvement. That group was ranked in the bottom-3 of the NFL in many statistical categories last season, and against a Ravens offense led by Lamar Jackson, they will be tested early on.

Raiders vs Ravens Odds Week 1

The Week 1 betting odds on WynnBET have the Raiders as home underdogs against the Baltimore Ravens, as the current odds have the visiting team as 4.5-point favorites. That is not shocking, as Baltimore is a perennial playoff team, and most experts will be picking them to win this one.

Looking at the over/under, that mark is set at 51 in the early going, but you can expect that number to fluctuate as we work through practice and preparation this week.

Raiders vs. Ravens Prediction Week 1

This is an interesting matchup to kick off the season, as the Ravens usually have an explosive offense with Lamar Jackson under center, but he is dealing with a lot of issues with his weapons. Star running back J.K. Dobbins is out for the season, and the team put rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman and veteran wideout Myles Boykin on the injured reserve this past week.

Las Vegas counters that offense with a defense that has a bunch of new faces but has yet to all come together in games that matter. Will Yannick Ngakoue be able to help the pass rush? Did they do enough in the secondary this offseason? All of these questions will be answered against one of the more dynamic quarterbacks in the league.

When it comes to a prediction, it is very early in the week, and we will do a full game preview and prediction down the road. One thing we do know is that the Raiders have shocked early in the season before, including beating New Orleans in primetime in Week 2 of last season.

If Baltimore is short-handed on offense, and the Raiders can stay in the game early, I see no reason why they cannot come away with the victory.

Prediction: Raiders 30, Ravens 27
