Las Vegas Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens: 3 things to watch for in Week 1

Raiders New Look Offensive Line

The two things you know about the Baltimore Ravens are the same thing that goes for the entire AFC North.  They are going to play tough, and they are going to play good defense.  Yes, the Ravens have lost a couple players on defense like Matthew Judon and Ngakoue, but as I mentioned in the opening paragraph, they draft and develop young players at an elite level.

Not only did the Raiders redo the entire defensive line, but they also made huge changes along their offensive line by trading center Rodney Hudson, right tackle Trent Brown, and long-time right guard Gabe Jackson. They plan on starting a former undrafted player coming out of UCLA in Andre James at center, and the number 17 overall pick in this year’s draft Alex Leatherwood at right tackle.

Denzelle Good is going back to his normal position at right guard and either Richie Incognito will start at left guard if he is healthy enough to go.  Although Leatherwood has looked the part in the preseason, the games now count, and both he, and James are going to be under the microscope.

Look for the Raiders rebuilt offensive line to make a real statement on Monday night.
