The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the NFL season, and here is our game preview and prediction for the matchup.

The time has come for the Las Vegas Raiders to actually start playing some games that count, and the party will get started on Monday night. Under the bright lights of Monday Night Football, the Silver and Black will take on the Baltimore Ravens, a team that has gone to the playoffs in each of the last three years.

Last year, the Ravens finally got it done in the playoffs, winning their first playoff game with Lamar Jackson as their quarterback, though they fell a week later in the AFC Divisional Round. Still, this is a team with an elite signal-caller in Jackson, who will be without a bunch of his weapons in this one.

Las Vegas, on the other hand, has been to the playoffs only once since the 2002 season, and in that year, they were without quarterback Derek Carr. In 2021, Carr will look to finally get this franchise back to being one of the premier teams in the AFC, and it will all start against a very good Ravens team on Monday night.

Let us take a look at the matchup and make our pick for the game.
