Las Vegas Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens: 3 bold predictions in Week 1
Kenyan Drake Goes for Over 100 Combined Yards
The whole reason that Las Vegas brought in Kenyan Drake was so that he could alleviate some of Josh Jacobs’ workload. In Week 1, we’ll see exactly how this new running back duo works out. Anticipate Drake having more carries than Jacobs, as Jacobs has been dealing with a minor toe injury.
Not only will Drake get a lot of carries, but he should see a fair number of targets come his way as well. After all, Carr loves to throw a good ol’ fashion check-down once a play falls apart. And Drake has the speed and moves to gain some good yardage in check-down throws. Gruden might even get experimental and draw up a nice wheel route or two for Drake.
So, it doesn’t seem that farfetched that Drake could go for over a combined 100 yards. In fact, the new system he is in and the new quarterback that he is paired with should really allow him to excel in every game he plays.
