Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 season game-by-game predictions

Week 3 – vs. Miami Dolphins: Loss

The Raiders playoff hopes ended in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins last year in a heart-crushing fashion. So the Raiders should be highly motivated even this early in the season to enact some level of revenge, especially in a very winnable game at home.

However, when I compare the rosters from top to bottom, Miami has a lot going for them this season, and if Tua is above average, they will be a legit threat. The key will be the Raiders defensive line verse the Miami offensive line. Both remain weak points for each team, so whichever one plays better may determine the outcome.

Overall, I see the Dolphins edging out and putting a halt to any revenge attempts, but honestly, this game is a complete toss-up. We still do not fully know what Tagovailoa is going to be, and early in the year, this is going to be an exciting matchup that goes down to the wire.
