Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 game-by-game predictions

Week 9 – @ New York Giants: Win

The schedule continues to favor the Raiders in this middle part of the season as they face another team that they are better than on paper. The Giants were more competitive in 2020 than their record may indicate, but this offseason has been tough on them, between injuries and retirements.

The injuries have prevented their offense from building continuity this offseason, which could spell trouble for Daniel Jones, who is trying to prove himself to the organization. Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney had issues being available during the summer months, but the Giants are getting Saquon Barkley back after an ACL tear last season.

The Raiders get another chance to overwhelm a team they are simply better than at the moment and go into a big showdown with the Chiefs at 5-3. However, this is a trip East, but it is only happening in early November, so the weather in New Jersey is not likely to be a concern.

Record: 5-3
