Henry Ruggs, Wide Receiver

The training wheels are off for the second-year pro, as Ruggs is now seen as the top wide receiver in this offense. If Jacobs isn’t able to suit up for this clash, or even is limited, then Ruggs will be depended on even more heavily as head coach Jon Gruden could look to air it out more.

Ruggs will see a healthy dosage of targets from Carr in this one, and he must step up if the Raiders can pull out a win here. Despite backup running back Drake being an effective option, this does not mean the Raiders will rely on him as much as they would Jacobs if he were healthy.

Quarterback Derek Carr may be going to the air at least 40 times or more in this one, depending on how the game is playing out. Regardless, the speedy receiver also out of Alabama must be ready to show why the Raiders took him in the first round last year.
