Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Fantasy Football Week 2 Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em

Start ‘Em

Darren Waller, Tight End

Let’s get the obvious member of the Raiders out of the way, and state that you should start Darren Waller in all games no matter the matchup. In Week 1, the Pro Bowl tight end turned a staggering 19 targets into ten receptions, while racking up 105 yards and a touchdown. Expect these numbers to be replicated as the Steelers will be blitzing constantly.

Waller is one of the best fantasy options this season, as with his target share, he will be a safe option every week. Derek Carr will look for Waller early and often, so keeping Waller in your lineup this week is one of the safest choices in all of Fantasy Football.

Kenyan Drake, Running Back

Josh Jacobs is really banged up heading into this matchup, and it will be interesting to see how much of the load he carries in Week 2. The other running back, Kenyan Drake could be the play this weekend, especially in Points Per Reception (PPR) leagues.

The dynamic back is used in numerous ways, and a more dangerous and is a consistent option in the passing game. He may not win your Week 2 matchup, but he will be more than solid, and  Carr will look to the running back to help out in the passing game.
