Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers: 3 bold predictions in Week 2

Bryan Edwards goes for over 100 yards and a touchdown

It took a while for Derek Carr to get the ball to Bryan Edwards against the Ravens, but it seemed like once he did, it solidified his confidence in him. Edwards finished with four receptions for 81 yards and some of the more important receptions down the stretch in that game.

Coming out of training camp in both 2020 and 2021, there might not have been a more hyped player on the Raiders roster than Bryan Edwards. I mean, this offseason alone, he was compared to players like Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, and Davante Adams.

However, an injury took away his chance to make an impact last year, as Nelson Agholor took advantage of the Edwards injury, and became the No. 1 wide receiver for Carr.  If Edwards can stay healthy, I fully believe that he could get close to 1,000 yards receiving this season, as I think he’s that kind of talent.

The only reason he was available in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft is because of his injuries, not his talent level. Darren Waller will be the number one target for Derek Carr because he is that good, but Bryan Edwards has a chance to be a really solid second option in this passing game.

After how he finished Monday night, I like him to go over 100 yards and a touchdown on Sunday afternoon.
