The Raiders have the daunting task of being the visitors in a clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) at Heinz Stadium on Sunday.

By now, it is common knowledge that the Pittsburgh Steelers defense gave headaches to All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills last week. However, the Las Vegas Raiders may present a tougher challenge than the Bills, as ludicrous as this may sound at first.

Week 1 was a great showing for the Raiders, and while it was well-chronicled the injuries the Baltimore Ravens had going into the clash, the Raiders still had to deal with the dangerous former MVP Lamar Jackson and still a talented defense. The defense was certainly up to the challenge, led by a suddenly consistent pass rush, something that could go a long way moving forward.

With the overtime nail-biting victory over the Ravens, it seems the Raiders might have found their footing and should see some significant improvement going into Week 2. Going east on a short week is never easy for a  team that makes its home in the Pacific Time Zone, but that is exactly what the Raiders must overcome on Sunday.

There are several reasons the Raiders can taste victory once again Sunday, and these will be detailed further.
