Raiders Game Sunday: Raiders vs. Miami odds and prediction for NFL Week 3 game

The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Miami Dolphins this Sunday inside Allegiant Stadium, and here are the early odds and prediction for the matchup.
The Las Vegas Raiders have shocked the NFL landscape so far this season, going into both their Week 1 and Week 2 games as underdogs and winning. In Week 1, they came all the way back from a 14-0 deficit to beat the Baltimore Ravens in overtime, before heading east on a short week and defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.
Suddenly, the Raiders look like a legitimate contender in the AFC, thanks in large part to the strong play from quarterback Derek Carr. Carr has thrown for 817 yards across his first two games of the season, a franchise record for the first two games of any year, as he looked completely comfortable running Jon Gruden’s offense.
It also helps that Las Vegas finally has a defense.
In Week 3, the Raiders will welcome the Miami Dolphins to Allegiant Stadium in a matchup of two teams heading in different directions.

The Week 3 betting odds on WynnBET have the Raiders as favorites for the first time this season, as they open the week as 5.5-point favorites over the Dolphins. The over/under in this matchup is originally set at 45.5 points, but as we have seen this season, this Las Vegas offense can put up points in bunches.
Raiders vs. Miami Prediction Week 3
To be honest, you never want to look past an opponent, but based on the fact that the Dolphins could be without Tua Tagovailoa in this one, and how well the Raiders have played this year, you have to be confident in their chances to win on Sunday. Las Vegas has a legitimate defense, can score at any time, and they could have an early MVP candidate in Carr.
This is a defense that is going to get after the Dolphins offense, forcing some turnovers, and getting the Raiders the ball in some solid situations. Also, the Allegiant crowd is going to be rocking, and I can see this one being a blowout in favor of the Silver and Black.
When all is said and done, I like Las Vegas winning 31-14.
