Las Vegas Raiders: Recapping the AFC West in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season
By Nick Bailey
The Las Vegas Raiders are currently in first place in the AFC West, and here, we recap all the division action from Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season.
The Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Los Angeles Chargers all beat their respective opponents in Week 1 to match the NFC West as the only division to have all four teams win. The Raiders, Chiefs, and Chargers all beat playoff teams, while the Broncos dismantled the ever-struggling New York Giants.
The Raiders and Chiefs played playoff teams once again in Week 2, with Las Vegas taking on Pittsburgh, and Kansas City playing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.
The Denver Broncos are playing a fourth-place schedule, so their slate will be much easier than the Chiefs and Raiders, as they took on the Jacksonville Jaguars with new head coach Urban Meyer and quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Chargers stayed in Los Angeles as Dak Prescott and all his weapons tracked to take on the Chargers.
Who won and who lost in week two? Let’s take a look at how the AFC West performed in Week 2.
