Las Vegas Raiders: Recapping the AFC West in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders went into their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers all kinds of banged up, as they lost both Denzelle Good and Gerald McCoy to season-ending injuries in Week 1. Also, they would be without star running back Josh Jacobs, who gutted out a heroic performance against Baltimore on Monday night.

Pittsburgh had their injury issues during the game, as they lost star edge rusher, T.J. Watt, early on. Still, this was supposed to be a game that the Raiders lose, being that they were not only playing against a playoff team from last season, but it was a short week, and they had to go east to take on the Steelers.

In the end, Las Vegas left Pittsburgh with a nine-point victory, and will now head home to face what could be a Tua Tagovailoa-less Miami Dolphins team inside Allegiant Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
